Warren Spector to Keynote at Texas Independent Game Conference

New Event Adds Roundtable Discussions and Game Demo Party to the 2-Day program

AUSTIN, Texas - April 25, 2006 - Warren Spector will join Greg Costikyan as a Keynote presenter at the Texas Independent Game Conference in Austin on July 22nd/23rd. The organizers of the event also announced the addition of several roundtables to the already busy program as well as a Game Demo Party where developers will get the chance to show off their work to publishers and their peers.

Warren Spector entered the world of electronic games with ORIGIN in 1989 and later started Ion Storm's Austin development studio in 1997. His list of game credits and achievements includes Ultima VI, Wing Commander , Ultima Underworld 1 and 2, Ultima VII: Serpent Isle, System Shock, Wings of Glory, Bad Blood, Martian Dreams, Deus Ex, Deus Ex: The Conspiracy on PS2. He left Ion Storm in November 2004 to found Junction Point Studios, Inc., to develop videogames for next gen platforms.
