VVVVVV

Terry Cavanagh's creation available for download now through Get Games.

Brighton, England, 19th February. Get Games, part of the Eurogamer Network and the UK’s premier digital download service is thrilled to announce that VVVVVV has gone live and is now available for fans everywhere to download straight to their living-rooms for an absolute steal at just £9, ($14.95 or €10.49).

The Get Games launch follows several bouts of incredibly positive publicity for the game. The independently developed quirky platformer featured at the UK’s leading videogames event the Eurogamer Expo in October 2010. The response by the thousands of gamers who enjoyed it as part of the show’s ‘Indie Arcade’ was fantastic and a recent review on Eurogamer gave it a very credible 8/10.

Commenting on the launch Graeme Struthers, at Get Games said, “We’re over the moon at having VVVVVV available for download. Not only because it’s a great game at a great price but because we know it’ll be the first of many independently developed titles that we’re going to discover and get the joy of being one of the first to break to gamers worldwide. The independent community is a Pandora’s box of awesome gaming content so players can expect to be excited by the unexpected.”

VVVVVV is the brainchild of Terry Cavanagh and is the first of many independent games that will benefit from Get Games’ unique approach to its content; championing future classics and seeking out the very best of those from the past and delivery them at competitive prices.
