Organisers, Future are actively encouraging the games industry to actively engage with the games buying public to promote the event. By visiting www.goldenjoystick.com, gamers can vote in as many or as few categories as they like. Voting now can directly influence the shortlists for the final stage of voting, which begins on Wednesday, 1st August.

The final results of this year's Golden Joystick Awards will be announced at the now infamous awards ceremony, held at London's Park Lane Hilton on Friday, 26th October. Once again, the event will be broadcast live on CVG ( www.cvg.co.uk), GamesRadar ( www.gamesradar.com) and NextGen ( www.next-gen.biz)
