VideoGamer.com

1,110,875 unique users chalked up.

London, England, January 6 2008: In what was a record quarter for Pro-G Media, the company has revealed its UK-based publication VideoGamer.com has received a total of 1,110,875 unique users in December 2008 (Google Analytics, AWStats), representing year-on-year growth of 61%.

The figures are the latest since VideoGamer.com launched its high-definition video service in October, the first of its kind to stream true 720p high-definition video among UK gaming websites.

“The increasing levels of traffic are a testament to the effort the whole team has put in to the site, and we're very excited by our upcoming launches in 2009”, said Adam McCann, Operations Director at Pro-G Media.

Tom Orry, Editor, said: “Since VideoGamer.com launched in September 2007 we’ve recruited a string of extremely talented staff members and worked hard to deliver quality content that appeals to a broad audience of gamers. This milestone is further evidence of our strengthening position as one of the UK’s leading and most popular video game websites.”

McCann added: “I feel it's also worth noting the traffic figures revealed today represent VideoGamer.com alone as a single entity, as opposed to figures combining multiple properties together.”
