Discount admission coupon to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia area.
Philadelphia (August 17, 2009) –Video Game Expo (VGXPO) announces today a promotional agreement with McDonald’s restaurants to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region, Inc. Starting September 11th and running through October 11th, gamers will be able to go one of over 300 McDonald’s restaurants and pick up a coupon for discount admission to VGXPO. A portion of the proceeds from each coupon redeemed (either online, or at the door) will be then donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
“We are thrilled to be working with Ronald McDonald House Charities,” commented Ed Fleming, founder of VGXPO. “By using the coupon and attending VGXPO you can help us with our donation drive to this very awesome charity.”
Starting on September 11th and running through October 11th, gamers can go to a participating McDonald’s and pick up a VGXPO coupon at the Entertainment Value Center located in the restaurant. Additionally, from September 19th through September 29th these locations will feature a VGXPO trayliners with a coupon as well.
“It’s wonderful to work with an organization like the Ronald McDonald House Charities,” said Brandon Nieginski, VGXPO Community Outreach Coordinator. “At VGXPO we’re dedicated to helping strengthen the communities around Philadelphia. This charity program, along with others, are designed to bring awareness to groups like Ronald McDonald House as well as help provide them with support.”
Now celebrating its 5th annual show, VGXPO will be held October 9-11, 2009 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in downtown Philadelphia. Returning to the Pennsylvania Convention Center (a.k.a. the Philadelphia Convention Center), VGXPO has moved into Hall A, a monstrous 130,000 square foot exhibit hall. This state of the art convention center sets the stage for what’s sure to be an amazing event for gamers and game insiders alike.
