As part of an ongoing project designed to provide support for British companies looking to forge trade links with Japan, UK Trade and Investment is organising a trip focusing exclusively on the videogames market.
Business seminars and meetings will be held in Tokyo and Kyoto, with a flexible schedule designed to encourage companies to establish their own presentation, networking and business opportunities outside of the formal programme.
Attendees will benefit from a high profile reception held at the Embassy, with introductions to useful contacts in the industry, support from a Mission Leader with more than six years experience in the Japanese games industry, practical advice and support from the UKTI team in the UK and Japan, and the option to take advantage of the UKTI's Oversees Market Introduction Service.
Discounted, pre-booked accommodation is provided, and a government grant of GBP 700 is available to eligible companies. Anyone wishing to create opportunity for business relationships in Japan, or strengthen existing links within the industry should visit the UK Trade and Investment website for further details. The closing date for applications is December 16th, 2005.
