UK Charts: Pirates knock Spider-Man off the top

Disney Interactive's Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End has knocked Activision's Spider-Man 3 off the top of the All Formats charts on its second week of release.

Disney Interactive's Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End has knocked Activision's Spider-Man 3 off the top of the All Formats charts on its second week of release.

The title has seen an 83 per cent increase in sales over the past week, managing to beat off competition from Eidos' Tomb Raider Anniversary, which debuts at number two.

Spider-Man 3 is at three this week, with Nintendo's Mario Strikers Charged Football at four and Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 6 at number five.

Wii Play continues to perform well at number six, as 505 Games' Cooking Mama climbs back up the top ten to number seven.

Dr Kawashima's Brain Training slips one place to number eight, with EA's Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars at nine and FIFA 07 at ten.

The only other new entries in the chart this week are Microsoft's Shadowrun at number 11 and THQ's Spongebob & Friends: Volcano Island at number 14.
