After dominating the top ten for several consecutive weeks, industry powerhouse EA has all but disappeared from the high echelons of the UK sales chart, with just two of its titles clinging to the all-formats top ten.

FIFA 06 has been relegated to third position after enjoying three weeks at the top, as Konami's rival football title Pro Evolution Soccer 5 storms straight in at number one. According to Konami, the latest version of its acclaimed Pro Evo series is the fastest selling football game ever for Sony's PS2 console.

The top ten is littered with new entries this week, making a refreshing change to the typical line-up. SEGA's Football Manager 2006 enters the charts at number two, while Take 2's free-roaming fighter based on the cult movie The Warriors pushes Ultimate Spiderman out of fourth place and down to eight.

Nintendo takes fifth place with Pokemon Emerald on the GBA and PC supernatural shooter F.E.A.R. creeps in at number six. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 slips five places to number seven and new entries Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi and Quake 4 join the fray at nine and ten respectively.

Elsewhere, EA's Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects enters at number seven on the PSP, Nintendogs controls the top three positions for the DS and Quake 4 shoots straight into third place in the PC specific charts.

Next week should see some further changes as new entries are expected for, amongst others, EA's multi-platform snowboarding title SSX on Tour, Sid Meier's Civilization IV on PC and Activision's Tony Hawk's American Wasteland.
