For the first six months of the calendar year, Ubisoft was ranked as the 2nd independent publisher in France, the UK and Italy, 4th in Germany and 5th in Spain in terms of market value . Ubisoft also performed strongly outside of Europe, maintaining its position of 3rd independent publisher in Canada, 6th in the United States and coming in 4th in Australia .
