A million viewers tune into Eurosport's broadcast.

Cologne, November 8, 2010 – The ‘Intel Extreme Masters’ show, the outcome of the cooperation between Eurosport, Intel and Turtle Entertainment, the leading eSports company, had its premiere on September 30 on Eurosport 2. The first episode covers the first live event of the fifth season of the Intel Extreme Masters tournament, the global league of the video game champions. All broadcasts combined, including the opening on Eurosport 2 and replays on both Eurosport 2 and Eurosport, reached about 1 million different viewers in total. All episodes are available on demand on Eurosport Player, Eurosport's web-TV service. The next episode of the show will be presented on November 11, 2010.

The first episode of the ‘Intel Extreme Masters’ show is focused on the world’s famous team Fnatic participating in the Global Challenge Shanghai, the first event of the fifth season of the Intel Extreme Masters league. The show had its premiere on September 30 when it was presented on Eurosport 2. It was then replayed on both Eurosport and Eurosport 2 and attracted altogether about 1 million different viewers. The production will cover the whole season of the Intel Extreme Masters, from its first live event in Asia until its World Championship in Hanover in March, 2011.

Each episode will be available on demand at www.eurosportplayer.com for at least a week following first broadcast. In addition, there will be a short highlight clip following every episode available in the free online video sections across Eurosport’s network of eleven language websites. Next episode, describing the eSports action at gamescom 2010 in Cologne, Germany, will be presented on November 11 on Eurosport 2 at 20:30.
