Townsmen 3 conquers the New World on mobile phones

German mobile and WAP service publishers and developers Handy-games has announced the latest release in its acclaimed Townsmen series, which will be available for download from November 15th.

Building on the popularity of the previous games in the franchise, the latest version offers 14 single-player missions with the option of serving the community as a successful merchant or storming the seas and conquering new lands as a notorious pirate.

Gameplay features have been enhanced to include much more freedom in building construction; upgrading, downgrading or destroying buildings as desired. Buildings can produce different resources, including the new introductions - sugarcane, rum and tobacco.

Trade with natives and gain a temple in your honour, or conquer the Old World and gain the fierce reputation you crave, as Townsmen 3 opens up the gameplay choices further than previous games have allowed.

Players who complete the campaign mode can unlock the endless game for an immense, all conquering strategy experience on mobile phones. The title has also been simplified and adapted for compatibility with Nokia series 30 and 40 handsets.

Another new introduction is the ability to generate special codes for Townsmen Cards, which can be used in special battles, or traded and swapped online or via WAP services with other players.
