Title: Kuju Announces Rail Simulator support for PI Engineering 'RailDriver™' peripheral.

7th August 2006

Location: Simulation

Kuju Entertainment (AIM: KUJ) today announced a working partnership with Michigan, USA based P.I. Engineering to support the RailDriver controller in the development of their forthcoming PC title Rail Simulator. P.I. Engineering specifically designed the RailDriver to compliment modern Train Simulation Games.

The RailDriver controller put levers, switches, and buttons in your hands to make you feel like you're driving a train, not a keyboard. Programmable keys put commands on the RailDriver, so you can put the keyboard away and get on with driving the train.

Richard Rogerson, Studio Head for Kuju's Simulation Studio, "We have long had a high regard for the quality of the RailDriver controller and we know that a lot of Simulation fans are looking forward to hooking it up with Rail Simulator. We've been in discussions with P.I. Engineering for some time now as we all feel that RailDriver offers rail fans the opportunity of further immersion into the Rail Simulator world."

The Rail Simulator team will provide P. I. Engineering with support during the integration of the system.

Dr Michael Hetherington, President of P.I. Engineering, said: "It's clear that Rail Simulator represents the next leap forward for railroad simulation games. From our own work in professional human interface equipment we know that to enhance the simulation experience a realistic control interface is critical and we are delighted to be able to work with Kuju in bringing RailDriver to the widest possible audience."

Rail Simulator will offer the opportunity for players to take charge of steam, diesel and electric trains on real routes in the UK and Germany. Challenging and fun gameplay will even enable players to design their own ideal journey routes. Rail Simulator will become the gold standard rail simulation title and will fully support the creation of add-on third party content.
