Tim Campbell appointment

Industry veteran becomes vice president.

Gameforge, the leading European publisher and developer of free-to-play online games, today announced the appointment of Tim Campbell, an industry veteran with eleven years of experience, as Vice President, Portfolio Planning. In his new role, Campbell will report directly to the board of directors and is responsible for the expansion of Gameforge's worldwide portfolio of web and client-based online games.

As an industry veteran with more than a decade of experience, Tim comes to Gameforge with an outstanding background in creative and business management. Before joining Gameforge, Tim held a number of executive positions at THQ Inc., including vice president of business development, vice president of creative management, and, most recently, executive producer at Vigil Games on THQ's massively multi-player game Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium Online. Prior to THQ Tim served in leadership roles at Atari, Infogrames and Sega Sammy Studios.

"We are delighted to have a seasoned veteran like Tim join our growing squad," Alexander Rösner, Gameforge's Founder and Chief Executive Officer said. "He is a key addition to our executive team as we look to increase our leadership position in Europe and grow our presence in the US market."

"I look forward to working with Gameforge's management team to implement new strategies for their portfolio," Tim Campbell said. "With such an influential and growing reputation in online games, Gameforge's future is extremely bright."
