Tiga/Testology deal

QA outfit joins UK developer body.

For immediate release - August 18th 2008

Testology Ltd is pleased to announce that it is now an associate member of Tiga. Testology was formed in June 2006 by Andy Robson, an industry veteran with 14 years experience in QA and Creative gameplay testing. He headed up test teams at both Bullfrog Productions and Lionhead Studios and has worked on over 35 AAA titles. However, spotting a gap in the market for a well run and experienced QA consultancy which could focus on creative as well as QA Testing, Andy decided to set up Testol-ogy. Two years on it is one of the most respected companies in its field. Current clients include Media Molecule, Lionhead Studios and Philips amBX.

Announcing Testology’s Tiga membership, Andy Robson said:

“Our philosophy at Testology is that thorough Creative gameplay and QA testing is a vital part of the games development process. TIGA has established itself as an essential organisation which works tirelessly for the benefit of the games development industry. So it made sense for Testology to join Tiga.”

He went on to add:

“Being part of Tiga will hopefully help Testology to share its experience with other members. I can see a great many benefits in joining Tiga and we’re looking forward to the year ahead.”

Richard Wilson, CEO of Tiga, said:

“Testology’s decision to join Tiga is good for Testology, good for Tiga and good for the membership. Testology brings considerable experience to the industry and strengthens our network of businesses. I’m delighted to welcome Testology on board.”
