THQ Wireless unveils E3 line-up

Star Wars, Sopranos and NFL plus two original IPs

THQ Wireless has revealed the list of games it plans to put on show at this year's Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3).

First up is Star Wars Imperial Ace, which sees players taking on the role of an elite TIE pilot tasked with bringing down Lord Vader's imperial fleet. The game will be pre-installed on BenQ Siemens EF81 phones and is set to roll out across Europe this year.

NFL Football 2007 is said to boast cutting edge graphics, animations and AI, and features all 32 NFL teams - each with the same strengths and weaknesses as their real life counterparts. It's due out in the autumn.

TV tie-in The Sopranos Poker will see players taking on the likes of Paulie, Silvio and Tony Soprano himself at 5 Card Draw and Texas Hold 'Em. The game is already available to Cingular customers.

Saints Row features the same setting as the forthcoming Xbox 360 title of the same name - a gritty urban environment where players must perform tasks for local gang leaders in order to survive. Both the mobile and console versions are due to launch this autumn.

And finally, another title down for an autumn release, and another console tie-in - Destroy All Humans! 2. The game sees players unleashing massive destruction in their role as a wisecracking alien, and features new weapons, more missions and a new team gameplay feature.

Other titles set to go on show at the event include NBA Basketball 2007, MotoGP 3, SpongeBob SquarePants, Worms, Juiced: Eliminator and Company of Heroes. THQ Wireless can be visited at booth 1324 in the South Hall of the LA Convention Center from May 10th - 12th inclusive.
