THQ executive resigns following structural shake-up

THQ has confirmed that Peter Dille, senior vice president of worldwide marketing for the publishing giant, has resigned from his post, according to US website GameSpot.

A THQ spokesperson told the site that Dille was leaving "to pursue other opportunities."

The GameSpot report also quotes "informed sources" as saying Dille's decision came after Kelly Flock was appointed as executive vice president of worldwide publishing. Dille would have reported to Flock had he not resigned.

Dille was previously vice president of marketing at THQ, and also worked for Sony Computer Entertainment America as senior director of product marketing.
