Mesquite, TX - May 9, 2006 - The Strogg and Global Defense Force armies are gearing up for online battle with the launch of the Enemy Territory: QUAKE WarsTM website-the definitive site for all things QUAKE Wars. Fans can now go online to to get an in-depth look at game features, browse and download screenshots, videos, and concept art and read what others are saying about the game. The site also features a fan site creation kit offering every necessary element for gamers to create their own Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars fan home pages.

Serving as the official headquarters for all the latest Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars news and information, will deploy a number of new sections and features over the coming months, including; detailed comparisons of the Strogg and GDF forces, more videos, screenshots, and wallpapers, and an entire community site with strategies, game stats, developer blogs and much more.

Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars is the ultimate online team and objective-based multiplayer experience. Set within the epic QUAKE® universe in the year 2065, gamers choose to play as Human or Strogg in one of five unique character classes. Employing an arsenal of weapons, vehicles and deployable armaments, players engage in an action-packed test of skill and coordinated teamwork through a series of combat objectives. Persistent character growth and achievements reward players for teamwork, while clearly defined mission and class objectives guide new players to meaningful contributions on the battlefield.

Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars is currently in development at Splash Damage - co-creators of the original Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, and is being executive produced by id Software. The game is rated RP (Rating Pending) by the ESRB.
