The Outfit(TM) Deploys Multiplayer Map Pack To Xbox Live(R)

THQ and Relic Entertainment Release All-New Downloadable Maps For Groundbreaking Multiplayer Title





AGOURA HILLS, Calif., May 17, 2006 -- THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) today announced that the first multiplayer map-pack, "Collateral Damage," for The Outfit is now available on Xbox Live® Marketplace, adding explosive new content to the game's intense multiplayer experience. The WWII squad-based action title, from THQ's internal studio Relic Entertainment, was the first to offer a pre-launch multiplayer demo for the Xbox 360TM video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and continues to utilize the full potential of Xbox Live® online gaming network with the release of three all-new maps for The Outfit. The map pack is currently available for download for 500 Microsoft Points and The Outfit is available at retail outlets nationwide for the suggested retail price of $59.99.

About The Outfit Map Pack
The Outfit's critically acclaimed multiplayer action gets even more intense with the addition of three all-new maps now available for download on Xbox Live Marketplace. The Collateral Damage Map Pack will include the Luftwaffe Finale, Bleak Mile and Eagle's Nest maps, which all build on the fast-paced, explosive online game-play. With interactive and fully destructible environments, players have the freedom to shoot, blow up or demolish anything in their path. As players complete mission objectives and secure strategic points, they'll gain field units (FUs) that can be used to order "Destruction on Demand" - air-dropped into the action at any time. Items available for purchase include tanks, half-tracks and other combat vehicles, machinegun nests and anti-tank emplacements, squad reinforcements, air strikes and artillery strikes. The multiplayer modes in The Outfit pit the Allies against the Axis, with three playable Axis leaders in addition to the three Allied heroes. With 720p HD, 16:9 Widescreen and 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound - The Outfit takes full advantage of Xbox 360's High Definition gaming experience.
