theHunter is the most authentic and realistic hunting simulation ever. Developed using Avalanche studios award winning engine to offer high quality gameplay and graphics that are light years ahead of the competition.

But that’s only a small part of what theHunter offers, as it seamlessly integrates a complete social networking site into the game that is designed specifically for the hunting community around the world. theHunter offers the best of both gaming and social networking with a simple download. And it’s all free!

theHunter has already opened up its doors to the first group of registered users and new players who will be continually phased in on an ongoing basis.

By going to www.thehunter.com, players can register and get in the queue for entry. Once entered, players simply download the file provided, set up their character and home page; select their weaponry, gear and equipment and start hunting. Initially gamers who wish to play for free will be able to hunt mule deer with a basic hunting inventory. Members - those people who pay a monthly fee will be able to hunt mule deer, wild Turkey and Whitetail with new content and additional benefits to be available soon after launch.

Because it’s online, theHunter is a continually evolving world where new content for the game will be added for all members on an ongoing and frequent basis, this means that as the months go on, new hunting environments, new wild game species, new weaponry, gear and equipment will become available to players. Emote games will be continuously evolving the hunting world based on feedback from the theHunter community.
