Friday 20th August 2010

HORSHAM (August 18th, 2010) – The Creative Assembly are keen to help developers affected by recent events in the Scottish games industry. To this end, we’ll be running a special recruitment event at the Apex Hotel, City Quay, Dundee on Friday 20 August.

It’s upsetting when a fellow studio runs into trouble, and with current vacancies we’re in a position to help. Founded in 1987 and based in Horsham, West Sussex, CA is a straight-forward, short, commute from London, Brighton and Guildford. It is located less than twenty minutes from Gatwick Airport.

Our console team is currently developing an unannounced AAA title. This exciting new flagship SEGA game is green lit, fully funded and has a healthy development timeline in place. Currently in pre-production we are looking to hire the best of the best to expand our world beating team on this new franchise.

In addition to the excellent work our console team are doing, our world renowned Total War franchise is one of the most respected in gaming, having won multiple BAFTA awards, critical acclaim and commercial success over the past decade on PC. We are also looking for people to become part of Total War’s future, this team is hiring too.

Studio Director of The Creative Assembly, Tim Heaton, says:

“It’s always sad to hear that a fellow studio appears to be in trouble, particularly a UK based company like Realtime Worlds.

Creative Assembly is keen to help, especially as we have current job vacancies. To this end, we will be running a special recruitment event in Scotland for those affected by this unfortunate news.”

We currently have 160 members of staff and we’re continually expanding – always searching for the very best talent from within the games industry. Our studio is built on our people, and our games are built on our people. Supported by our parent company, SEGA, with an excellent benefits package, competitive salaries and facilities on site, in addition to a generous relocation allowance we pride ourselves on being a leader in the UK games industry.
