Xbox.com to Host Series of Videos Showcasing the Game's Depth and Detail

NEW YORK, Sept. 7: Atari, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATAR), one of the world's most recognized brands and leading third-party video game publisher, today announced the upcoming release of a series of Test Drive Unlimited walkthrough videos exclusively available on Microsoft's Xbox.com website and on Xbox Live Marketplace. Test Drive Unlimited is the ultimate automotive and lifestyle gaming experience that provides gamers with M.O.O.R. TM : Massively Open Online Racing and the pure freedom to go wherever they choose, whenever they choose and race whoever they choose all in a spectacular, wide open tropical setting. The video clips demonstrate the depth of Test Drive Unlimited's gameplay and show gamers what to expect from the game that is reinventing the racing genre. Test Drive Unlimited for Xbox 360 TM video game and entertainment system from Microsoft is now available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $39.99. The video series will be released via www.xbox.com starting on September 7.

The walkthrough videos, ranging from three to five minutes long each, are entitled The Automotive Dream, Lifestyle Customization, Welcome to the Race, It's All About the Challenge and FreeRiding. Each video details the various aspects of the game. Part One, The Automotive Dream, introduces players to Test Drive Unlimited and the basic opportunities available in the game such as test driving and purchasing cars, as well as how to customize them with deluxe paint jobs and performance tune-ups. In Lifestyle Customization, viewers learn how to create their avatars, choosing from a plethora of hair styles, eye colors, noses, chins and more. The customization options are rounded out with an abundance of clothing choices and real estate purchases. Welcome to the Race invites gamers to learn how to explore the thousand miles of open roads, check out the three main types of races, and navigate the island using the in-game map. Online racing is emphasized in It's All About the Challenge. Gamers learn all about Oahu, unlockables, rankings, police, and more in Freeriding, the last video of the series which highlights the realistic driving experience of Test Drive Unlimited.
