Telltale Announces Episodic Gaming Pricing Model

New Wave in Digital Interactive Entertainment Carries a Price Tag of $12.99

SAN RAFAEL, CA, April 4, 2006 - Telltale, Inc., a rapidly growing digital entertainment pioneer, today announced a new pricing model for its titles that will accelerate growth for episodic digital entertainment. Effective immediately, all episodes in the Bone series that sell through Telltale's digital distribution channel will sell for $12.99, to align with current models in other entertainment media.

"We will expand the audience for games enormously by setting a price that competes directly with DVDs, music CDs, books and cable television," said Dan Connors, CEO of Telltale, Inc. "The demand for downloadable episodic content continues to grow, and Telltale is providing a steady stream of rich, fully interactive digital experiences at the same price as traditional media which lack the interactive dimension."

"We're creating a system that makes it incredibly easy for audiences around the world to tune in regularly for episodes of their favorite series at Telltale."

Telltale will release its second Bone episode, Bone: The Great Cow Race later this month. The first release in the series, Bone: Out From Boneville was released last Fall at a higher price point. As of today, the company is lowering all episodes in the Bone series distributed through its digital download channel to the new lower price of $12.99 each in line with the new structure.

The Bone games are available from Telltale's website bone.telltalegames.com, and other digital distribution partners.

Based on the popular graphic novels by Jeff Smith, Bone: Out From Boneville introduces cousins Fone Bone, Smiley Bone and Phoney Bone as their quest quickly begins. Through the desert, spooky canyons, lush forest, and other exciting locales, the Bones attempt to reunite after losing each other and discovering something is just not right in the world around them. The second Bone episode follows the continuing adventures of Fone Bone and his cousins as they go to the Barrelhaven county fair on the eve of the annual cow race. Phoney Bone is plotting to swindle the locals, while Fone Bone attempts to prove himself and win the heart of the fair Thorn, who has become infatuated with a rakish honey salesman. There are games, trickery, exotic foodstuffs, a daring rescue... and rumblings of something sinister in the offing. And, there's fun with cows.
