Telcogames picks up Rodland rights

Classic platformer comes to mobiles

More than 15 years after the first Rodland game appeared in the arcades, Telcogames has produced a new instalment in the series for mobile phones.

Rodland is a platform game featuring two fairies, Tam and Rit, who explore a castle whilst collecting fruit and protecting themselves with a magic rod.

There have previously been Amiga, Amstrad CPC and Game Boy versions of the title, but Telcogames has converted the mobile game directly from the original arcade board.

The company has pledged that Rodland will run at 60 frames per second on smartphones running Symbian and Windows Mobile.

Rodland is out now.
