Telcogames Establishes Japanese Subsidiary

Recruits Games Veterans To Establish New Company

London, UK & Tokyo, Japan, September 17th. Telcogames Limited, a global distributor and publisher of mobile games, has created a new subsidiary company, Telcogames Japan. Telcogames Japan will service the advanced Japanese mobile entertainment market. Two highly experienced traditional games sector executives to take charge.

Telcogames Japan will be based in Tokyo to extend the ambitious company's global distribution coverage into the hugely popular Japanese mobile entertainment market.

Telcogames has appointed Mr Takeshi Shimizu as Managing Director of Telcogames Japan and Mr Kazutoshi Miyake as a Director of the company and Board Member.

Takeshi Shimizu has over twenty years experience in the consumer electronics, television and videogames industries. Most recently Mr Shimizu was a board executive and producer at Opus Corporation, responsible for development of titles such as US smash hit "UFC Thrown Down", "Fighter's Destiny" and "Wave Rally" across all major videogames consoles and mobile phone handsets, as well as the development of software for the Sony Aibo.

Kazutoshi Miyake is a high profile figure in the global videogames business. Mr Miyake is the current Chief Executive Officer of Atari Japan, he has also worked extensively with videogame giant Sega from 1993 - 2001, with Executive Sales and Marketing roles in Japan and as Chief Executive Officer of Sega Europe from 1994- 2001. Mr Miyake was also a Non-Executive Board Member of Andromeda Entertainment, a leading distributor and provider of videogames to the retail sector.

Mr Miyake, said, "I am delighted to be working with Telcogames in such a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.
