Asim bags prize at fighty game tournament in London.

Last Friday night, Tekken 6 aficionados descended on HMV Gamerbase in London’s Trocadero for the first of six, monthly Tekken Force tournaments. Players from all over the UK battled it out through a round-robin and knockout competition where the last men standing were UK community favourites ‘Dinosaur’ and ‘Asim’. Their hotly contested final went right down to the wire, but ultimately it was ‘Asim’, playing as Miguel who triumphed netting himself £200 and a HORI Real Arcade Pro V3 in the process. You can watch the entire fight here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1WkialO9Ms

The two worthy runners’ up were ‘Dinosaur’, who came 2 nd, bagging himself a Tekken Ton (£100 to you and me) and 3 rd placed ‘ShinJin’ who will most likely be visiting Gamerbase again with his £50 of Gamerbase vouchers.

You can recap on all the heart-stopping action complete with commentary from top UK Tekken players, ‘Shadowforce’ and ‘Imperial’ via the Tekken Force youtube page here: http://www.youtube.com/user/Tekkenlondon
