Ted Dabney interview

Atari co-founder shares thoughts in RetroGamingRoundup.com podcast.

Orange County, CA (PR) – October 17, 2010 Building on its tradition of educating gamers on the history of video games, RetroGamingRoundup.com is going to feature a lengthy interview with Mr. Ted Dabney.  Mr. Dabney was the co-creator of Atari and the first commercially produced video arcade game Computer Space, and somewhat “silent” partner of the very outspoken Nolan Bushnell, considered by many to be the father of the video gaming industry.

According to the hosts of RetroGamingRoundup this is a very special and historical interview detailing a much different recollection of the birth of Atari and the development of Computer Space than what has been told by Mr. Nolan Bushnell through the years.   And with the movie Atari in pre-production, produced by and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, this story needs to be heard with hopes of “fact checking” the script.  This is Mr. Dabney’s first aired interview and is full of new and insightful information on the earliest days of video gaming history.

RetroGamingRoundup.com is a monthly 5-6 hour podcast stock full of retro gaming goodness including exclusive interviews with video gaming luminaries from days gone by.  Their official website:  http://www.RetroGamingRoundup.com.
