TECMO ANNOUNCES TOKOBOT PLUS: MYSTERIES OF THE KARAKURI
Tokobots are discovered at Tecmo's booth this year at E3

LOS ANGELES, Calif. May 10, 2006- At the
2006 Electronic Entertainment Expo, Tecmo® announced that
Tokobots will be making a return in a new adventure later
this year. Everyone's favorite mechanical helpers are back as
the Tokobots help Bolt unlock and discover the Mysteries of
the Karakuri! The Tokobots are swinging, climbing, and
spinning their way back into action this year on the
PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system in a totally
enhanced and upgraded Karakuri experience.
Tokobot Plus: Mysteries of the Karakuri on the PlayStation®2
system features significant upgrades and new elements in
addition to the graphical improvements from the PSPTM
(PlayStation®Portable) system version of the game. Mysteries
introduces a story with more depth and dramatic presentation
including enhanced rivalries with the enemies and voice-overs
for all in-game characters. Complete with 10 new
action-packed stages, 30 different types of enemies, and
Time-Attack mode, Tokobot Plus delivers on its console
debut.
Successfully defeating enemies blocking Bolt's path will
allow the Tokobots to absorb the enemy's attack methods
allowing for new combination attacks to be learned.
Discovering rare treasures throughout the ruins can be used
to upgrade the power of combination attacks and increase
Bolt's lifebar. Upgraded combination attacks provide extra
damage to the enemies and provide special animations. Collect
all of the treasures to unleash the full power of the Tokobot
Karakuri Combinations!
