Synergenix launches 3D Carmageddon

Mobile game redesigned for Symbian and Mophun handsets

Synergenix, the European subsidiary of Kyak Interactive, has announced the launch of Carmageddon 3D - the street racer based on the classic PC franchise and completely reinvented for Symbian handsets.

Created by Impressionware, a Java-based, 2D version of Carmageddon mobile was released earlier in the year, and has been well received both by fans of the original SCi PC title and newcomers to the fast-paced 'wreck and race' gameplay. The latest version has been completely reinvented in 3D, and is designed specifically for the more advanced gaming capabilities of Symbian smartphone handsets.

Synergenix CEO Martin Forsling commented: "Building on the success of this remarkable PC classic, we are bringing an experience that will dazzle players and put them in the front seat of the car of their dreams. Those familiar with the PC-version will be impressed with a dynamic game that challenges their skills not only for racing but for personalizing their car and expanding those fins for speed."

Luigi Fumero, CEO of game developers Impressionware, added: "We have included an incredible amount of features in the mobile game: four outrageous cars, four crazy drivers, three different environments to run havoc in and 36 playable events divided in six different event types, from straight races to mad destruction derbies. Fun is guaranteed."

For those wishing to experience the thrill of Carmageddon in its new 3D form, the game will be made available through all major networks and mobile portals for compatible Symbian handsets.
