SwitchGames.com, The Gamers Marketplace, today launched SafeTrade, a new service guaranteeing peer-to-peer safety to its members when they trade video games and consoles.
SafeTrade brings the security of in-store purchasing to video game trading online. In a SafeTrade transaction, SwitchGames guarantees the full replacement value of a member's game in the event it's lost in the mail or stolen by a fraudulent trader. SafeTrade is a no-risk service that costs nothing up front. SafeTraders only pay the $5.95 fee if their SafeTrade offer is accepted.
In addition to security, the $5.95 fee delivers a pre-paid First Class U.S. Postal Service shipping label. SafeTrade also provides free online package tracking, which allows members to track shipping progress in real-time, from within the SwitchGames interface.
