Super Twario

Twitter-fuelled retro platformer hits version 1.2, bringing new skins and features.

Manchester, UK – 15 th December 2010 - Head First, the UK based advertising and design agency, is pleased to announce that Super Twario, its app which converts Twitter accounts into a retro style platform game, has received an update that introduces a host of new features and improvements ranging from skinning the app’s levels to enhanced Twitter functionality.

Super Twario featured as one of the App Store’s new and noteworthy apps on launch and has since become a cult hit with fans.  The app has received a warm reception having featured on Edge as “The Friday Game”, as one of the “Week’s best apps” on Gizmodo and in The Independent as one of the best apps for Tweeting on iOS devices.

The Head First team has made a significant number of changes and improvements to enhance the Twitter experience.  The biggest upgrade is the introduction of skins, allowing users to tweet from the volcanic depths of Jurassic World, the shifting sands of a Desert or cold and frigid tundra. Users will also be able to tweet from the depths of space and from the other side in spooky world, before wrapping up with waves on the beach.  These updates are incremental to those found in version 1.1 which introduced music and a range of minor fixes.

New features, content and improvements in Super Twario 1.2 include:

·         Mentions

·         Direct messaging

·         Live world ranking

·         Performance updates

·         Bug fixes
