Strategy First to launch Nintendo DS range

Specialist publisher Strategy First has agreed a new contract with handheld developer Pocket PC Studios which will see the company's range of PC titles being ported over to the Nintendo DS.

The first games to be covered by the deal will be Disciples and a game from the Jagged Alliance franchise, with more titles expected to be announced down the line; no dates have yet been given to any of the games, however.

"Our agreement with Pocket PC Studios is further evidence of the excellent work being done to revitalize and expand Strategy First's business," commented Clive Kabatznik, CEO of Strategy First's parent company, Silverstar Holdings. "The expansion of our existing franchises onto the Nintendo DS platform marks a major step towards a broader diversification onto new hardware platforms."
