Targeted at the entire family, Staraoke Christmas lets the player control a cartoon character on their screen by singing along to various songs. The software recognizes the singer's pitch and keeps the character on the path… unless you sing off key. Singers will quickly develop their singing abilities to win as many points as possible and keep their characters from going astray.
There is also paid version of the game available with extra features like competition mode for up to 4 people. This means that instead of your children sitting staring at the screen, they will be having fun with their friends, singing, and from our experience, dancing along as well. (Actually we have found most parents want to join in as well.) This isn't just a mobile game, it's fun for the whole family. Staraoke Christmas paid version comes with 3 songs.
The game can be easily played using the iPhone/iPod touch or iPad’s built in microphone. True fans of the game might want use a headset or dedicated iPhone/iPad compatible microphone.
