STAR TREK: Legacy™ For Xbox 360™ and Windows Ships to North American Retail Stores

Epic Game of Starfleet Command Spans Entire STAR TREK® Universe and Features Voices of all Five Captains

Rockville, Maryland - Dec. 15, 2006 - Bethesda Softworks® today announced that the highly anticipated strategy/action game, STAR TREK: Legacy for the Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system from Microsoft is shipping to North American retail stores. STAR TREK: Legacy for Windows was released last week and is currently on store shelves. The release of STAR TREK: Legacy completes Bethesda's current lineup of STAR TREK titles, which includes the highly popular STAR TREK®: Encounters for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and STAR TREK: Tactical Assault for the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system and the Nintendo DS.

STAR TREK: Legacy places you in the Admiral's chair as you command your hand-selected fleet of starships into battle. Featuring striking space environments, detailed weapon effects, and full damage modeling, the single player Federation campaign and robust multiplayer modes span the entire STAR TREK Universe with over 80 ships and 4 playable races. While commanding Federation, Romulan, Gorn, or Borg fleets, this real-time combat game provides a strategic and tactical experience as you battle across vast sections of space.

STAR TREK: Legacy features the voices of all five actors who portrayed the original STAR TREK captains - William Shatner, Patrick Stewart, Scott Bakula, Avery Brooks, and Kate Mulgrew. The collaboration marks the first time the five actors have participated in a single STAR TREK project together. In addition, Bethesda Softworks also worked with acclaimed STAR TREK writer, Dorothy "D.C." Fontana, and her writing partner, Derek Chester, to provide compelling and authentic storylines for STAR TREK: Legacy.

STAR TREK: Legacy, developed at Mad Doc Software under the direction of Bethesda Softworks, is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB. For more information on the title, visit the official Web site at http://startrek.bethsoft.com.
