Sony secures Narnia title as European PS2 exclusive

Buena Vista Games' title based on the forthcoming Chronicles of Narnia movie, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, is to be a PS2 exclusive in Europe until next March thanks to a new deal with Sony.

The console title, developed by UK-based Traveller's Tales, is the latest game to be signed up as a platform exclusive by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe - although the exclusivity applies to the console platforms only, and won't affect the PC and handheld versions of the title.

The exclusivity applies in Europe only, and runs through until March 31st. On Sony's side of the deal, the platform holder will be providing significant TV and marketing support for the game, including PS2 bundles across the PAL territories.
