Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Announces Introduction of Ceramic White PSP

Los Angeles, 9th May 2006 - Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) today announced the expansion of the PSP (PlayStation®Portable) line-up in Europe with the introduction of a new colour, 'Ceramic White', effective 15th May 2006.

The 'Ceramic White' PSP extends the already well-established design credentials of PSP, with a clean and elegant look that will prove attractive and appealing to a wider audience of beauty, fashion and style lovers.

Launching in the hugely popular Value Pack version, the 'Ceramic White' PSP will come equipped with special white accessories, including Headphones with Remote Control, Wrist Strap, Pouch and a 32MB Memory Stick Duo.

Since its European launch in September 2005, sales of the black PSP to consumers in the SCEE territories have reached almost 4 million units. In addition to the gaming, movie and music capabilities of PSP, the network features have also proved hugely popular, with downloads of additional content from www.yourpsp.com exceeding 3 million items. Popular downloadable content includes short videos, game demos and content to enhance existing titles such as additional vehicles, circuits and music for WipEout Pure, the genre leading title from SCEE.
