Pair of Queen SongPacks available for download tomorrow.

London, 01st October 2008: SingStar® “will rock you” when, for the first-time ever, a series of special themed SingStar SongPacks launch in SingStore™. New from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, SingStar SongPacks will feature five hit tracks to download directly to your PLAYSTATION®3 for only £4.49. To celebrate, the first two SongPacks will mark the arrival of Queen onto SingStar on October 2nd 2008.

Save time creating your perfect playlist and pick up five of the hottest SingStore tracks in one pack. All you need to get the party started is a PS3™, a copy of SingStar and a couple of SingStar microphones. Simply log into SingStore, access the SongPack section, select your Queen SongPack of choice, and download – it’s that easy! Whether you feel like stretching your vocal chords with “Bohemian Rhapsody” or belting out “We Are The Champions” with your mates after a great night out, simply select your tune from either of these SongPacks:

How to use SingStore – a step-by-step guide

1: Get your PS3 online: Getting online couldn’t be easier; all you need is a broadband internet connection. Once that’s ready, it only takes a few minutes to sign up – simply select ‘Sign Up for PLAYSTATION®Network’ from your PS3 system’s Home Menu and create a new account. After entering a few personal details, that’s it – you’re ready to go!

2: Visit SingStore: You can access SingStore straight from the game – choose ‘Online’ from the Main Menu, then select ‘SingStore’.

3: Find your tracks or SongPacks: Simply browse through the available music and find your favourite tracks or SongPacks. You can also pick up new wallpapers to customise how SingStar looks on your TV.

4: Load up your cart: You can watch previews of tracks, and if you’re ready to buy, just add them to your cart.

5: Checkout: Got everything you want? Then head to the checkout and pay. There’s no need to wait while your tracks download - return to the game and carry on singing!

SingStar® Rocks! launched in April/May 2006 and is packed with attitude, capturing the ultimate balance of exciting new rock acts e.g; The Killers, Razorlight, and Kasabian plus a few alternative rock gems and a good sprinkling of ‘dad rock’.

SingStar® Anthems hit the shelves in August 2006, marking the 6th release in the catalogue. Featuring some of the worlds most recognisable chart hits, from Queen to Bonnie Tyler, and Bucks Fizz to Girls Aloud, it became another essential title to add to your growing collection.

SingStar® Legends released in November 2006 and features an impressive line-up of past and present music icons, including John Lennon, Aretha Franklin, David Bowie, U2, Madonna and the Jackson 5.

SingStar® Pop Hits launched in April 2007 with a tracklist dedicated to the biggest names in pop. With thirty huge pop tracks from award winning artists including Jennifer Lopez, Scissor Sisters, Nelly Furtado and Fall Out Boy, Pop Hits is an essential buy for any pop music lover.

SingStar® ‘90s launched in August 2007 and features a who’s who of 90s music icons including MC Hammer, Sir Mix-A-Lot, REM and the Spice Girls, SingStar ‘90s will have you and your mates longing to wear Bum Bags all over again.

SingStar® Rock Ballads burst onto the scene in September 2007, heralding a return to big hair, big tunes & tight trousers. Melt your microphones with the ultimate compilation of rock-your-socks-off classics, from Duran Duran to Roxette, and Meatloaf to T’Pau.

SingStar® R&B launched in October 2007 with a sassy line-up of the best of R&B music introducing a mixture of modern day superstars and much revered Soul and Motown icons from the past. Featuring Rihanna, Pussycat Dolls, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas and Salt-N-Pepa.

SingStar® Bollywood launched in October 2007, incorporating a mix of classic and modern Bollywood dance sequences, taken from a selection of the biggest silvers screen classics, SingStar Bollywood is guaranteed to offer the most discerning performer a shot at the big time by following in the footsteps of some of Bollywood’s greatest living legends.

SingStar® Volume One (PS3) saw SingStar make its long awaited debut in the Next-Gen world in December 2007 and was an instant Christmas hit. Featuring 30 brand new tracks by artists such as The Killers, Pussycat Dolls, Gwen Stefani and Gorillaz, SingStar Volume One also heralded the arrival of SingStore and MySingStar. SingStore allowed players to download additional tracks from an ever increasing library of both classic and modern songs. Online music community My SingStar Online allowed players to upload their videos and audio performances for comments from other players and allowed listening and commenting on other’s performances.

SingStar® Summer Party launched in May 2007 with a tracklist celebrating the best of summer smash hits. SingStar Summer Party feel good tracklist had classic hits from pop icons such as Elton John, Blur, and Blondie. Mixed in with current pop acts such as Rihanna, Amy Winehouse and Mika. Finished off with a good helping of cheesy pop from Lou Bega, Chesney Hawkes and Yazz.

SingStar® Volume Two arrived on PS3 in the Summer of 2008. As well as another 30 exclusive tracks, the second Blu-ray SingStar disc offers an all new Harmony mode, allowing players to sing different parts of the same song at the same time. It also offers all-new customization options for MySingStar and improves the look of the famous SingStar carousel.
