London 7th June - In between rave reviews for his new solo single 'Lay Your Hands' and a cameo role in 'The Truth about Love' which stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Dougray Scott, Simon Webbe from top British boy band 'Blue' has found time to team up with Xbox Live for the latest Game With Fame event!
Simon and new urban sensation Lyrican, will be chatting and playing exclusively with Xbox Live gamers on the 8th June between 3pm and 5pm GMT. Fans will have the chance to race against Simon and Lyrican in the latest hit motor racing game Forza Motorsport.
Forza Motorsport, the ultra-realistic driving simulator allows gamers to own, collect and transform their own personalised fleet of speed machines from an unprecedented line up of more than 230 cars made by over 60 top manufacturers. Forza is an innovative online racing experience featuring online car clubs with up to 100 different gamertags. 'Blue' who have recently collaborated with legendary artists Stevie Wonder and Elton John, have achieved phenomenal commercial success across Europe - generating sales figures of more than 7 million albums and 4 million singles since releasing their number one hit "All Rise" in 2001. The band is set to embark upon a European tour which will see them play at packed venues across the region.
How do I get the chance to play Simon Webbe and Lyrican?
All Xbox Live members need, to pitch their skills against the band, is:
1. Sign into Xbox Live
2. Add one of the following Game With Fame Gamertags to your friends list:
- If your Gamertag starts with a letter from A-M. add (insert gamertag i.e. Lyrican 1)
- If your Gamertag starts with a letter from N-Z. add (insert gamertag i.e. Lyrican 2)
3. After that, gamers just go onto Xbox Live on the 8th June from 3pm and 5pm GMT (4pm - 6pm CET) to check if they have been invited to join in a game and if they have then...
4. Game With Fame and chat to Simon Webbe or Lyrican.
