Side-kick Co-Development Program

Motion control company seeks developers.

RAMAT GAN, Israel – January 25, 2011 - Side-kick, a leading production house for motion control games, today announced a new co-development program where Side-kick will offer its development expertise in motion games, and bring third-party games to its partner network across Europe and Asia. The co-development program aligns Side-kick’s development partners with IPTV manufacturers, new console companies and other hardware manufacturers that are looking to license games that utilize gesture interfaces.

“We’re at the epicenter of the gesture-based games revolution and we have a lot of access to new platforms before they launch,” said Guy Bendov, CEO of Side-kick. “This presents an opportunity for our partners as well and we’re ready to bring content from other studios to new hardware. For studios that have been considering ramping up their capabilities to address these new opportunities, we can take the risk out of the equation and solidify their games with our proven gesture toolbox to ensure the cleanest possible interface.”

Side-kick is currently working with multiple publishers and hardware device manufacturers to deliver initial games that engage new users quickly and pave the way for additional games and other developers to be successful.

With the recent success of the Xbox360 Kinect™, PlayStation®Move and the Nintendo Wii™, Side-kick is geared to offer OEM and technology providers a variety of funded motion-control games to be launched in 2011, covering sports, music, and action genres.
