Shoot Many Robots

Robot shootin' roboclaws-on at PAX East.

Demiurge Studios, one of the largest and longest-running independent development studios in the Boston area, will welcome gamers from around the world to their home town at PAX East in Boston this weekend.  The team has announced an invitation to go hands-on with their upcoming “4-Player Online Co-Op Run ‘n’ Gun RPG” Shoot Many Robots - which will be ready for download in 2011.

Players looking to meet the team and be among the first to test out the action, explosions, leveling-up, gear changes, and more can look for the game running non-stop in Booth 1130 this Friday March 11th through Sunday March 13th.

In addition to hands-on time with the game and plenty of surprises that the team will have in store for some of the best players in the booth, Demiurge will also have some of their lead designers on-site.  The team will be working with aspiring game designers to create and submit robots for their recently announced contest dubbed ‘Design Many Robots.’  The winner of that competition will be flown to Boston later this year to see their robot design come to life in the game’s first planned DLC pack.  See the ‘Design Many Robots’ section of their website for more details and information.
