ShiVa Advanced Editor

Discount offer extended till the end of this month.

September 21st, 2010: Stonetrip has announced that it will continue to sell ShiVa Advanced Editor at the discounted price of €1,199 until the end of September. From October 1st, the price will revert to its normal €1,499.

The special offer on ShiVa Advanced Editor was introduced at the beginning of the summer, in part to help support developers on Apple Macintosh computers. ShiVa, in its current iterations, is not available for Macs, so the €300 saving could be used to offset costs involved in emulation.

The low price of €1,199 is applicable to all developers, however, not just those using Macs, and ShiVa developers are set to benefit even more with the release of ShiVa rel 1.9 in October. Publisher Stonetrip’s stated policy is always to make upgrades free of charge to existing licensees, so anyone taking advantage of the €1,199 offer before it ends on September 30th will find they are eligible for a free upgrade to release 1.9.

The ShiVa community is growing rapidly, with over 30,000 developers worldwide currently developing on ShiVa. Stonetrip’s single licence strategy is popular with developers: in addition to free upgrades, licensees also pay no royalties or publishing fees.
