Organisers of the Serious Games Summit, the CMP Game Group, have opened the call for papers for this year's event.

SGS 2006 will take place in Arlington, Virginia from October 30 - 31. The aim of the event is to provide a platform for developers, retailers and industry professionals to discuss the serious games market, covering areas such as corporate training, science, health and the military.

CMP is seeking submissions for a variety of conference tracks, such as serious game design, business models and methods and learning theory. Full details and instructions on how to submit papers can be found on the Serious Games Summit website.
