Sequence

Intriguing RPG/Rhythm hybrid coming in March.

LOS ANGELES, CA, January 13, 2011 – Indie developer Iridium Studios is pleased to announce Sequence for Xbox Live Indie Games™, in partnership with Microsoft. The game features mechanics from both traditional role-playing games and rhythm-based games to create a frenetic experience, framed by a fully voice-acted story. Sequence will launch in March 2011.

The first of Iridium Studios’ titles, Sequence features over 10 hours of gameplay, 80 minutes of recorded dialogue, and 26 tracks from Ronald Jenkees and Michael Wade Hamilton. Players switch back and forth between three separate streams of notes, fending off enemy attacks while maintaining a constant barrage of offensive and defensive spells. The art and character design were completed by Wendi Chen.

“I couldn’t be more excited for release,” says lead designer Jason Wishnov. “There are gameplay concepts here that players have never seen before, and I’m looking forward to their reactions.”
