Sennari brings PrizePlay to Vodafone Live!

Eight titles scheduled for Q1 release

Speaking at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Sennari has announced the UK launch of its unique PrizePlay gaming service - now available to all Vodafone Live! customers.

Built using Sennari's proprietary mCRM platform and specifically designed to reduce churn and encourage repeat play, the PrizePlay service offers a suite of parlour and casual games on a pay-per-play model.

Customers can download games directly to their handsets from Vodafone Live! and the cost of each game is either deducted from the pre-pay account, or added to the monthly bill for contract customers. Each download includes six plays, after which users can buy gaming tokens to be used in any of the PrizePlay titles.

Sennari offers users a chance to win a prize in every game played, ranging from digital downloads to electronic goods and high street retail gift certificates. The PrizePlay catalogue contains thousands of assorted prizes, winning tokens for which can be redeemed directly from within the game, or via the website.

In addition to its community-based connected gaming and real-time wireless play, PrizePlay has been designed to enable in-game transactions that involve storing points, currencies, tokens, or coupons. The model allows for both pay-per-play and tournament style gaming, with in-game prizes.

Sennari CEO Bill Barhydt commented: "Our comprehensive PrizePlay service represents the future of mobile gaming. Today's mobile consumers want compelling casual games with game play times of a few seconds to a few minutes. We go even further by turning these games into true customer retention and loyalty features for wireless carriers."

Vodafone Live! customers can initially access four titles: PrizePlay Monopoly, PrizePlay Snakes and Ladders, PrizePlay Triple Towers and PrizePlay Goldenballs. Sennari has promised an additional four as yet undisclosed games will be added to the Vodafone service during the first quarter of 2006.
