SCEA drops PSPgo price to $150

Platform holder repositions SKU prices ahead of NGP launch later this year

The most recent of the PlayStation Portable variations to be released, the PSPgo, has seen its price cut in the US.

The handheld device will now retail at $149.99, following last week's cut in the PSP-3000 price to $129.99.

Meanwhile, the line-up of software prices has also been repositioned, with new releases now available at $29.99, Greatest Hits for $19.99 and Favorites for $9.99.

Sony's pricing strategy update comes ahead of the launch of the Next Generation Portable towards the end of this year, but is also a couple of weeks ahead of the launch of the Nintendo 3DS in the region.
