MMORTS being given away for free along with real Orc weapons used in a movie.

Provo, UT, October 23, 2009—Silverlode Interactive is giving away weapons actually wielded by Orcs in the filming of a new Orc movie that had one of its scenes shot in the SAGA Games studio. For the duration of the promotion starting on October 22, SAGA the world’s first collectible MMORTS will be given away for free on Fileplanet. Any player signing up for an account and creating a nation will be given a chance to win one of 6 Swords or Spears used by the Orc Horde or the Mace used by the Orc chieftain at the conclusion of the filming of the movie.

Since being released in 2008 the SAGA MMORTS world has expanded with the addition of hundreds of new quests and the new Undead faction in the latest expansion. High end content is continuously being added with new more powerful weapons and armors. With over 200,000 registered accounts and no monthly fee the community continues to grow.

The quite room with mountain views that once served as a storeroom for the game studio Saga Games was converted into a ranger station for the filming of the ultimate Orc Movie. The rangers stood watch with guns loaded knowing that when the Orcs came they would be the only thing standing between the hordes and the innocent people in the town bellow. As the Orcs streamed down from the mountains wielding cruel swords and spears the rangers opened fire. The next day when the game developers returned to work they found a battle field littered with weapons that surely could be put to good use.

“We were understandably hesitant to allow film crews to take over our offices for the weekend but when we heard it was for the filming of an Orc Movie we couldn’t resist” Said Saga Games President Jason Faller. “When we said the Orcs in full makeup and armor we knew we had to take advantage of the opportunity and put together this promotion for all fantasy fans”

As the Orc movie enters post production, fans will be given glimpses into the story on the Orcs Orcs Orcs Facebook page. This movie explores the possibility of Orcs existing in our own world, perhaps in the unexplored areas of the Rocky Mountains, ready to unleash their vengeance upon mankind.
