Rising Star Games at MCM Expo

Samurai Shodown Sen and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle both playable this weekend at London's ExCeL.

Monday 24th May 2010: Rising Star Games has today confirmed it will have a key presence at this weekend's MCM Expo, with Samurai Shodown Sen ( Xbox 360) and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle (Wii) both fully playable at the event at London's ExCeL.

The largest consumer event of its kind in the UK, fans of sci-fi, manga and anime hail the MCM Expo as one of the most important events of the year; given the video games crossover, Rising Star Games as 'The Home of Japanese Games' is a perfect fit for the event.

At its third appearance at the show, the Rising Star Games stand will be built in the style of a traditional Japanese room and will include a number of demo pods to try out Samurai Shodown Sen (out now) and No More Heroes 2 (out 28th May), giving attendees valuable hands-on time. Plus, visitors to its stand in the Games Village will also receive an exclusive No More Heroes 2 poster.

MCM Expo is well known as a prime opportunity to see the next big thing and, following previous successes at the event, Rising Star Games plans to continue exhibiting at future expos to reinforce its standing as a top publisher of Japanese video games.

"We are delighted to be a part of MCM Expo this weekend," says Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games. "Visitors to the event make up our key target market for games like Samurai Shodown Sen and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, and we guarantee that anyone who drops by our stand at the Expo won't be disappointed."

Rising Star Games will also use the event to attract more sign-ups to Hoshi, its popular online community where members receive exclusive news, previews, images, trailers and press announcements via regular emails. Signing up to Hoshi also gives people access to the forum and money saving offers.

Plus, thanks to a deal with Joystick Junkies, Rising Star Games staff will be showcasing one design from its brand new range of T-shirts at the MCM Expo.

MCM Expo takes place 29th-30th May at London's ExCeL. Rising Star Games will be located in the Games Village, next to Nintendo.
