PR agency offers developers support on the App Store, PSN, XBLA and WiiWare.

San Francisco, California – March 10, 2010 – Reverb Communications, a leading videogame public relations and marketing agency best known for working with companies such as RedOctane (Guitar Hero), Harmonix/MTV Games (Rock Band) and Cryptic Studios (Star Trek Online, Champions Online), announced today its plans to offer digital publishing services to developers using its approved publisher status on PlayStation Network and Apple’s App Store.

This move to broaden Reverb’s services comes as a natural extension of the company’s integrated approach to public relations, sales and marketing, where the Reverb team already meets the needs of smaller and mid-level developers bringing their own titles to digital platforms.

“Our developer support program is a proven model,” says Doug Kennedy, Vice President of Business Development at Reverb. “One of the growing challenges developers face is deciding how to properly present a digital title to consumers once their game is completed. A massive marketing budget is not necessary to get games noticed, but without a proper launch developers are just hoping on a wing and a prayer that their games will sell.”

In addition to public relations and marketing expertise, Reverb can manage all of the publishing responsibilities for the developers such as ESRB submissions, game testing, first party submissions and accounting. Unlike the traditional lopsided deals typically offered by publishers, Reverb Communications will provide the same level of service to the developers but will not take any ownership of the development studio’s intellectual property and will allow the developer to receive the majority of the game’s revenue.

Reverb’s digital title successes include:

• ZEN Studios’ Pinball FX is the #1 downloaded pinball game on Xbox LIVE Arcade

• Enigmo and Cro-Mag Rally from Pangea Software both achieved #1 on Apple’s Top Paid Apps list

• iSamJackson (iPhone/iPod touch) from Heatwave Interactive was named #3 “Must Have” by Entertainment Weekly

• The Punisher: No Mercy from ZEN Studios was #3 PlayStation Network game in July 2010 (PlayStation ‘Pulse’)

• Greed Core from “W” Games on XBLA and PSN which recently received an 8.8 from IGN and a 9.2 from Team Xbox
