Red Pyramid launches new series of games
Hummer Jump and Race out now
Mobile games developer Red Pyramid has launched the first in what's billed as a series of games which will use the company's proprietary 3D engine.
Titled Hummer Jump and Race, the game is said to "simulate a real-life car model in a mobile racing game realistically" for the first time. Players can bounce, spin and jump their SUVs and the car models are said to behave just as their real world counterparts would.
There are three cars to choose from - Hummer H2, H2 SUT or H3 - and tracks include desert and off-road. On completing races, players can upload their results to the Red Pyramid server and compare their times with other gamers from around the world.
Hummer Jump and Race is based on J2ME with the use of 3D APIJSR-184 and Mascot Capsule. It is available for selected handsets from Sony Ericsson, Nokia and Sagem.
