The German games media has already found much to like in the fast shooter: "Just like "FarCry", "Red Ocean" clearly shows that "Made in Germany" is the next big thing", finds online magazine 'NexGam'. Games portal 'Looki' gave Red Ocean a silver award and wrote: "Especially the imposing graphics, the interesting locations and weapons make the title stand out."
The playable demo includes the third mission from the deep sea shooter, which takes the player into the terrorist-occupied interior of the underwater station - and into the workings of a giant centrifuge. Rapidly revolving, it filters the energy-rich parts from the rock mined inside the station. Constant loudspeaker announcements remind the numerous heavily armed guards patrolling the facility, not to fire their weapons inside, for fear of damaging the apparatus and interrupting the highly complicated process. The PC CD-ROM Shooter, developed by Collision Studios and published by dtp entertainment, is set for worldwide release in Q3/2007.
