RealtimeUK Secures Leading Industry Figure

RealtimeUK, one of the UK's leading 3D animation studios has appointed industry expert Adam Parsons into the team as Senior Producer.

Adam joins RealtimeUK from Codemasters where he recently worked as Senior Producer on Clive Barker's Jericho, as well as other high profile titles including the Toca Race Driver series, in the role of Lead Artist. He has spent the last nine years with the Leamington Spa based company, focusing his expertise on a series of lead creative and management roles on multiple other titles.

Parsons has gained extensive experience working in the creative service industries over the past 20 years. Before Codemasters, he managed production teams at various design and production companies, producing animation and multimedia.

Parsons believes that this experience has equipped him with unique attributes that he is now bringing to the RealtimeUK team. "The nine years' experience I have gained both as a developer running art teams and a producer delivering complete titles has given me a unique perspective, as well as a true understanding of every step of the development process" says Parsons. "My goal is to continue to strengthen the already established relationship between developers, publishers and RealtimeUK. Our objective will be to bring the company into the development process much earlier, so we can aid art directors and help them realise their vision into 'concept movies' and render targets."

Parsons' ultimate goal is to help RealtimeUK become a higher profile animation company. "The quality of work that RealtimeUK produces is already outstanding and the team is of the highest calibre. Our aim is to work with international clients across the games, entertainment and advertising industries."

Tony Prosser, RealtimeUK's Managing Director commented "It's our ambition to support games developers during the early stages and continue right through to launch, whilst at the same time working with publishers to produce marketing assets to help game concepts get the green light and promote their brand right through to retail. This is a very exciting time for the company and by using Adam's experience and knowledge to bolster our services, we can move closer towards achieving our goals."

Parsons brings with him a wealth of experience as he is a fully qualified Prince2 practitioner in project management. He holds a 2:1 honours degree in Product Design and is also a qualified photographer at the BIPP and MPA.

RealtimeUK has also added Ben Robins and Peter Kolus, who both join the company as digital artists. Before joining RealtimeUK Robins was part of the NVisage CGi team at Burrows WCJ, where he worked on Ford and Mazda car animation projects. Kolus was previously with renowned 3d visualisation companies, Evermotion where he specialised in creating life-like environments.
